A bike ride through the wet moorland of National Park Dwingelderveld.
From Lhee you drive almost directly into the National Park Dwingelderveld. In total the park is about 37 square kilometers. It is said that this is the largest wet heathland area in Western Europe. The first part you cycle along the edge of the park. On your right you will see the park's forest and on the left the vast grasslands. At Smalbroek you actually enter the park. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, changing from forest to heathland and from fields to sand drifts. Colors and scents alternate with the occasional smell of coffee on a terrace in between. When you take a break, you may encounter (small) snakes and toads, but also 6 species of orchids and special butterflies. In short, you ride a special route through special landscape.
