A route past castle gardens, through natural areas and streams.
The route heads toward Broekhuizen where you will take the ferry across De Maas. Don't forget to bring enough change, you will be sailing across De Maas again later. Parallel to De Maas you cycle towards Arcen where Arcen Castle and the Arcen Castle Gardens are located. After the beauty of the gardens, you cycle into the nature reserve De Ravenvennen. This is what is called a dry forest area with mainly coniferous forests and fens. Special butterflies, birds of prey and reptiles find their way here. When the woods give way to fields, De Maas comes into view again. It goes on the other side in the direction of Grubbenvorst. North of this place you cycle through the nature reserve Kaldebroek. Different types of trees alternate with grasslands. Via the Molenbeek of Lottum and the Broekhuizer Molenbeek you cycle back to Broekhuizen.
