You cycle along the Eemsboulevard, where you have a beautiful view of the Eems, the river that separates the Netherlands from Germany.
This bike route has as its starting and ending point the Eemshotel in the port city of Delfzijl. Just a little above Groningen, this is a high and dry spot with a super view. A building built high on stilts. With an incredible view of the Eems Dollard and the sea dikes of Germany. Delfzijl is known for its large industrial port. The route takes you past parts of this impressive port area where you can see how shipping and industry come together.
