Kasteel Stapelen is een van de meest iconische bouwwerken van Boxtel. De oorsprong van het kasteel gaat terug tot de 13e eeuw, toen het werd gebouwd als een versterkt kasteel ter verdediging van de omliggende dorpen en handelsroutes. Het kasteel heeft door de eeuwen heen verschillende functies gehad, waaronder als woonverblijf van adellijke families en als religieus centrum.In 2020 werd het kasteel verkocht aan een particuliere eigenaar. Hoewel het niet meer vrij toegankelijk is, blijft Kasteel Stapelen een geliefde plek om langs te fietsen of te wandelen.Neem even pauze bij de slotgracht voor een mooie foto van het kasteel. Vooral in de herfst, als de bladeren verkleuren, is Kasteel Stapelen een betoverende plek om te zien.
